The comsos once flared in the night
rivers of light so brilliant
All once was pure in this world

ghosts of long past, swim through the currents of time
A spectral serpentine wave of light, erupts before my eyes

Spires of rust of pierce the sky
torrents of smoke asphyxiating
wastelands of shadow and flame
scar my flesh, never to be the same
